About the role
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: 6014 W. Maple Rd, Bloomfield, MI and 55 Northpoind Dr, #4, Walled Lake, MI (Split between locations)
Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-7pm
Compensation: $25-$40hr depending on experience Incentives: $5,000 sign-on bonus and/or $200 per month in uncapped student debt relief Join our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center and be part of a respected clinical team delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities. - Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
