About the role
Role: Physiatrist specializing in Brain Injury/Concussion care, with leadership responsibilities to develop and oversee TBI services within a physician-led health system.
Responsibilities: Provide outpatient care for TBI patients, including opportunities at trauma hospitals. Lead the development of concussion care pathways and coordinate patient transitions across settings. Teach PM&R fellows and participate in research if desired. Manage 12-15 patients daily without inpatient call duties.
Qualifications: Board-certified or eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. TBI certification or fellowship preferred. Clinical expertise in outpatient TBI management and leadership skills are essential.
Key Skills: Strong leadership and communication, experience in outpatient TBI care, and a commitment to advancing concussion care. Experience with office procedures such as EMG testing and chemodenervation is desirable.
