Job Description
- Thyrocare Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring Phlebotomists – Home Collection to collect blood samples from patients at their homes and ensure safe, hygienic, and timely transportation of samples to the laboratory. The role also involves performing ECG procedures and completing required MER forms when applicable.
Key Responsibilities Home Sample Collection:
- Visit patients' homes according to the assigned schedule.
- Collect blood samples using Vacutainer and other approved sample collection procedures.
- Perform sample collection safely, accurately, and hygienically.
- Ensure proper patient identification and sample handling.
ECG & Patient Support
- Perform ECG procedures when required.
- Explain test procedures and fasting requirements to patients when necessary.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with patients.
Sample Handling & Documentation
- Ensure proper labeling and barcoding of collected samples.
- Complete required documentation and MER forms accurately.
- Maintain appropriate sample storage conditions and cold chain requirements.
- Ensure timely transportation and delivery of samples to the laboratory.
Experience Job Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Vacutainer blood collection is mandatory.
- Previous experience in home sample collection is preferred.
Education
- DMLT / MLT certification is mandatory.
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM candidates can also be considered.
Vehicle Requirement
- Two-wheeler is mandatory.
Driving Licence
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
- Strong knowledge of Vacutainer blood collection.
- Knowledge of sample handling, storage, and cold chain maintenance.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently during home visits.
Compensation Salary & Work Timings:
- Minimum guarantee: 185 samples per month
- Payment: ₹150 per collection
Full-Time Work Timing
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Part-Time Work Timing
- 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with strong Vacutainer blood collection skills.
- Candidates with experience in home sample collection are preferred.
- Candidates who are comfortable travelling within Bengaluru.
- Candidates with good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Candidates who can maintain punctuality and follow proper sample-handling procedures.
