Role Overview: The Front End Pharmacy Technician supports medication dispensing at a closed-door pharmacy, focusing on order entry, customer service, and accuracy.
Responsibilities include: Triaging customer requests, verifying dosages, reviewing narcotic prescriptions, providing drug interaction information, and maintaining customer records.
Qualifications: Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician per state law, High School Diploma or GED, and ability to perform required tasks. Experience in long-term care and PTCB certification are preferred but not mandatory.
