DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Pharmacy Cashiers combine interpersonal and communication skills with a detail-oriented perspective in order to provide both great customer service and support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. To be successful, the Pharmacy Cashier must be able to work under deadlines in fast-paced environments and capable of juggling many tasks at once, staying organized and tolerate stress. Quantitative skills help as processing payment is a large part of their job.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:
- Experience in cashier services, cash collection, credit card transaction and AR functionality of the POS system.
- Retail Pharmacy experience a plus.

Education and Training:
- High school diploma.

License, Certification & Registration:
- None.

Other Requirements:
- Proven typing ability and computer skills ( Windows Microsoft.).
- Proven, outstanding, customer service skills, consistently demonstrating a friendly, pleasant and outgoing welcome when greeting anyone entering the Pharmacy. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to interact appropriately with the patients and hospital staff and maintain high level of confidentiality required.
- Must possess and demonstrate good organizational skills. Ability to speak the English language in a clearly understandable manner.
- Ability to troubleshoot/maintain proper operation of . Point of sale system as well as the RX Retrieve module.

Schedule: Non-Scheduled, Shift 1, 8:00am-4:30pm ,9:30am-6pm
