About the role
As a Pharmacist in our Cancer Center at Rice Memorial Hospital, you will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to develop and optimize treatment plans for oncology patients. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying oncology and infusion medication orders, overseeing the preparation of chemotherapy and infusion medications by pharmacy technicians, and utilizing the electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure accuracy and compliance. The pharmacist serves as a clinical resource, providing consultation and support to providers and nurses regarding medication therapies, treatment protocols, and patient care considerations. This position involves handling and exposure to hazardous medications, including chemotherapy agents, in accordance with established safety standards and protocols.
Schedule
- Part time | 56 hours every two weeks
Monday - Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $59.63 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $59.63- $95.01 per hour

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
Basic Life Support (BLS) training, within 90 Days of hire
