Job Summary
Pet/CT Tech
Shift: Monday – Friday (varying shifts of either 7am – 3:30pm or 9:30am – 6:30pm). No weekends, no call, no holidays
Full-time, 13 week Contract with option to extend

Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with patient preparation and safety protocols.
- Operate PET/CT equipment and ensure optimal image quality for diagnoses.
- Monitor and report patient status, contrast use, and radiation exposure.
- Achieve weekly and monthly performance targets and contribute to pipeline management.
- Adhere to facility policies on privacy, data security, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain accurate procedure documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and nuclear medicine team to interpret results.
- Provide patient-centered care, addressing fears and ensuring comfort.
- Document procedures in electronic medical records with accuracy and timeliness.
- Proactively pursue professional development and attend relevant trainings.
- Maintain on-site readiness, inventory, and calibration of imaging equipment.
Experience/Qualifications
- PET/CT technologist license or certification (state or national).
- Demonstrated PET/CT imaging proficiency with patient prep and safety protocols.
- Experience operating PET/CT systems and optimizing image quality.
- Ability to monitor contrast use, radiation exposure, and report findings per policy.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and attending relevant trainings.
- Strong patient care focus with ability to address fears and comfort needs.
- Proficient documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain procedure pipelines for targets.
- Inventory, calibration, and on-site readiness of imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and nuclear medicine team for result interpretation.
