Performance Marketing Specialist

About This Role

This hands-on strategist role involves both client relationships and campaign performance, owning a portfolio of accounts from strategy through execution. The specialist will lead client calls, manage Meta campaigns, monitor results, contribute to ad messaging, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, reporting to the Associate Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, priorities, and next steps
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls
• Translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical clients
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals
• Solve account issues proactively to support stability and growth
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking
• Manage budgets, audience targeting, bid strategies, creative testing, and campaign variables
• Monitor performance daily and make adjustments based on cost-per-appointment and other key metrics
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and develop strategies to improve results
• Test audiences, messaging, and creative to identify opportunities for stronger performance
• Contribute to ad copy and campaign messaging
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows
• Resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems
• Proactively monitor tracking and lead flow to prevent issues from affecting client results
• Investigate issues, determine what needs to change, and act when something isn't working
• Be comfortable being accountable for results and explaining performance clearly to clients who may not speak marketing
• Be organized, detail-oriented, and able to move quickly across multiple accounts without losing sight of the outcome
• Be responsible for making the account work

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with a strong focus on Meta advertising
• Experience simultaneously managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing conversations
• Proven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
