Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry
Role Overview: Provide high-quality acute-care nursing in a hospital setting, assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Maintain accurate records, follow safety protocols, and educate patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective patient care in ICU or Telemetry units
- Assess, monitor, and document patient responses
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Follow infection-control and patient safety standards
- Educate patients and families about treatments and discharge plans
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
