About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in ICU or Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing safe, high-quality acute-care nursing care
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and using specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Following infection-control policies and safety guidelines
- Demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in a hospital setting
Qualifications Include
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum one year recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
