Per Diem ICU RN - Flexible Schedule

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting, including ICU and Telemetry units.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of one year recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months).
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
