About the role
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies
- Educate patients and families about treatment and discharge instructions
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
