Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry
Role Overview: Providing high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting with a focus on ICU and Telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate records, and educating patients and families. Adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines is essential, along with demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum one year recent ICU or Telemetry experience within two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Key Duties: Delivering acute-care nursing, monitoring patient responses, medication administration, collaborating with medical teams, maintaining documentation, and patient education.
