People Partner - Hybrid

About This Role

This People Partner role is central to fostering colleague development and engagement, and delivering operational HR, as the Society evolves into an innovative, modern mutual. The role involves acting as a trusted HR partner, leading a team of People Associates, and engaging with management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage 2 People Associates, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant service delivery across the employee lifecycle
• Support and coach line managers towards a culture of high-performance
• Work with line managers to identify talent within the business and implement effective tools and processes to enable colleague development and career growth
• Build relationships across the business, up to Executive and senior management level, acting as the HR expert to support achievement of strategic objectives and provide advice
• Use MI and HR data to identify improvement opportunities and develop suitable solutions
• Develop, review and implement People policies, ensuring they remain legally compliant
• Conduct employee relations investigations in line with best practice

Requirements

• Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, People Partner or similar role, including development of policies and ER casework
• Experience working within a transformation environment
• CIPD Qualification at Level 3 or above

• Experience working within financial services
• Experience of liaising with trade unions
