Partnering with some of the world’s most respected and prestigious automotive brands, the People Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing a people strategy that directly accelerates commercial and operational performance. This high-impact role is for a commercially astute HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, performance-driven environments, championing a high-performance culture, driving organisational change, elevating engagement, and building capability at every level of the division.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute a forward-thinking people strategy that is fully aligned to divisional and organisational objectives, ensuring every initiative delivers measurable commercial impact
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing credible, data-led counsel that informs key decisions and strengthens business performance
• Drive organisational effectiveness by partnering with leaders on structure, workforce planning and succession strategy, ensuring the right capability, in the right roles, at the right time
• Strengthen the talent pipeline by leading initiatives that attract, retain, and develop high calibre individuals, while embedding robust leadership and career development frameworks
• Embed a high-performance culture by championing performance management standards, setting clear expectations, and fostering accountability and continuous improvement across the division
• Elevate colleague engagement and inclusion, working with leaders to implement targeted action plans that enhance morale, productivity, and diversity across all teams
• Safeguard operational excellence in HR delivery, partnering with the HR Support functions to ensure seamless execution across payroll, onboarding, policy compliance, and process governance; underpinned by accurate data and best practice
• Lead through change with confidence, guiding managers and teams through organisational transformation, minimising disruption while strengthening clarity, resilience, and engagement

Requirements

• CIPD qualified, bringing a genuine passion for HR excellence and the development of high performing people and teams
• Demonstrable track record of delivering commercially impactful HR strategies within fast-paced, results-driven environments, with clear evidence of measurable outcomes
• Confident and credible leader, capable of inspiring others and influencing senior stakeholders to drive meaningful, sustainable change across the business
• Exceptional relationship builder, trusted at every level of the organisation and adept at navigating complexity with sound judgement and professionalism
• Highly effective communicator, articulating ideas with clarity and authority, both in writing and in person to ensure alignment and engagement
• Proactive, resilient, and accountable, taking ownership of outcomes, maintaining momentum, and bringing positive energy to every challenge
