People Partner

About This Role

Working closely with managers, the People Partner fosters employee well-being and engagement through various initiatives, including people projects, dispute resolution, and promoting a positive workplace culture. This hands-on operational role serves as the primary contact for people-related matters within a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate case management while upholding confidentiality and integrity. The role plays a pivotal part in driving improvements, managing change, and overseeing structural adjustments across multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead people projects, dispute resolution, and promote a positive workplace culture
• Serve as the primary contact for people-related matters within a designated area
• Ensure timely and accurate case management while upholding confidentiality and integrity
• Drive improvements, manage change, and oversee structural adjustments across multi-site teams

Requirements

• Experienced HR professional with a strong background in leading and supporting organisational change initiatives
• Proficient in HRIS systems
• Skills to work with data and reports related to labour metrics, including turnover and absence
• Proven ability to deliver proactive, customer-focused business solutions to HR challenges
• Tactful and diplomatic approach to handling sensitive issues
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
• Capability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
• Up to date in employment law and HR practices
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or an equivalent degree in Human Resource Management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage complex employee relations cases, including preparing for Employment Tribunals
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel across the Midlands when necessary
