People Partner

About This Role

This People Partner role is a key part of building the people function from scratch within a rapidly scaling company. It involves serving client organizations, owning employee relations, running people rhythms for groups, and coaching managers. The ideal candidate will be focused on leveraging AI to automate repeatable tasks and support a fast-growing, multi-site team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the people partner for your client organizations, acting as the first point of contact for managers on hiring, performance, structure, and difficult conversations
• Own employee relations end to end: investigate, resolve, and document with judgment and speed
• Run the people rhythms for your groups, including onboarding, reviews, engagement, and offboarding, scaling with 10x growth
• Coach managers, many of whom are first-time, into effective leaders
• Put AI to work on the function itself: automate repeatable tasks so partner time is dedicated to judgment, not paperwork

Requirements

• Experience as an HRBP or people partner through rapid scaling, with positive feedback from client leaders
• Experience running sensitive employee relations cases end to end, with investigations that held up
• Experience coaching first-time managers into good ones
• Ability to operate at high speed, providing same-day answers rather than next-cycle policies
• Strong knowledge of employment law to identify when legal counsel is needed
• Ability to work with data, reading retention, performance, and engagement signals early and acting on them

• Compensation Range: $139,000 - $178,000
