Penetration Tester

About This Role

This penetration testing role involves ensuring the security of web-based applications across all their aspects, from the user interface to the database and web services. The position requires a candidate with strong experience in manual testing within complex software environments, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience testing all aspects of web-based applications including UI, database, batch, and web service
• 8 years of experience in formulating test scenarios, creating detailed test cases, and performing manual application testing within a complex software environment
• 5 years of ability to work in a team environment and interact with a diverse level of staff to exchange and/or extract information
• 5 years of experience developing, maintaining, and upgrading test cases using HP ALM
• 5 years of experience creating and maintaining defects using HP ALM
• 5 years of experience with MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.)
• 5 years of experience setting up test data using SQL and PL/SQL
• 2 years of experience testing data conversions
• 1 year of experience testing web services and batch processes using various toolsets

Nice to have:

• 3 years of working knowledge of browser testing tools
• 3 years of working knowledge of SharePoint
• 1 year of working knowledge of Test Automation (Selenium, LoadRunner, Accessibility testing) and the ability to troubleshoot integrations with HP ALM
• 1 year of experience testing of Salesforce application
• 1 year of working knowledge of accessibility testing tools such as JAWS, Wave, CCA, etc.
