About This Role

This role involves conducting sophisticated and rigorous security assessments designed to mimic the actions of real-world adversaries as a critical part of the offensive security team. It suits a penetration tester with expertise in various security testing environments and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute advanced penetration tests across a wide range of environments, including Web, API, and Mobile Application Security Testing, External and Internal Network Penetration Testing, Wireless Network Security Assessments, and Adversary Simulation and Red Team Engagements
• Successfully identify, exploit, and pivot from sophisticated vulnerabilities to determine the maximum achievable impact and information exposure
• Prepare clear, detailed, and high-quality technical reports that outline vulnerabilities, exploitation scenarios, and provide practical, strategic remediation advice for both technical and executive audiences
• Contribute to the refinement and development of HackLabs' proprietary testing methodologies and toolsets, ensuring the company remains on the forefront of the industry

Requirements

• Experience in penetration testing and/or red teaming
• Demonstrable expertise in Web Application, Mobile Application, or Internal/External Network Penetration Testing
• Strong practical knowledge of industry frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
• Expert proficiency in common security tools (e.g., Burp Suite Professional, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux tools)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
