Lead Pediatric Physical Therapist Location: Bothell, WA
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Clinic
Salary: Competitive compensation; salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Treat patients with developmental delays, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, gait abnormalities, torticollis, cerebral palsy, hypotonia, genetic conditions, and other pediatric diagnoses.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Provide family education and develop appropriate home exercise programs.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for Physical Therapists and other therapy staff.
- Support clinical best practices, quality of care, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of team members.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other professionals.
- Promote effective communication and teamwork across disciplines.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Help foster a positive, supportive, and family-centered therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.
- Current Washington State Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- 5+ years of pediatric physical therapy experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience working with pediatric populations.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to family-centered and evidence-based pediatric care.
