Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a growing pediatric outpatient team in Westborough, MA . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a family-centered, play-based environment providing one-on-one therapy services to children with developmental, sensory, and motor challenges.
The clinic serves children ages 2-12 with conditions including autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, and fine motor deficits. This position offers flexible scheduling, mentorship, and a collaborative team environment dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential.
Schedule
- Full-Time, Part-Time
- Flexible scheduling
- Weekday afternoons and/or weekends
- Minimum 10 hours per week; up to 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one occupational therapy treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).

Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on:

Sensory integration

Fine motor development
-
Visual-motor integration
-
Self-care and ADL skills

Play and functional development
-
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Educate and communicate with parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and treatment progress.

Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Participate in team meetings, care planning, and family education sessions.

Qualifications Required
- Active Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

- Previous pediatric outpatient experience
- Passion for working with children and families
