Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a pediatric outpatient multidisciplinary therapy team in Richmond, Virginia.
The OT will provide primarily one-on-one treatment to pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, sensory-motor, and other therapy needs. Strong new graduates are welcome to apply.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday | Weekday Daytime Hours
- No overnight or on-call requirements
- Weekend work is not routinely required
- Part-time schedules may be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Provide primarily one-on-one therapy sessions, generally 60 minutes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary therapy team.
- Provide family-centered care and collaborate with other professionals as needed.
Qualifications
- Active or eligible Virginia Occupational Therapy license
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong new graduates are welcome
- Genuine interest in working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/BLS certification preferred/required as applicable
