About This Role
Providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare for pediatric patients is the core of this role at Madison Family Clinic. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat common childhood illnesses while building lasting relationships with families in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric wellness visits and routine physical examinations
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common childhood illnesses and medical conditions
- Provide preventive care, immunization-related services, and age-appropriate health guidance within the provider's scope of practice
- Manage acute and ongoing pediatric healthcare needs
- Develop treatment plans and educate parents and caregivers
- Provide scheduled, walk-in, same-day, and telehealth visits
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Work independently while collaborating with the clinic team to deliver excellent patient care
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of postgraduate APRN experience
- Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Kentucky RN license and eligibility for Kentucky APRN licensure
- Current national board certification appropriate to the provider's role
- Must have a current DEA registration or be able to obtain one
- Demonstrated experience and ability to independently provide pediatric primary care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Self-directed, dependable, and committed to compassionate, high-quality care
- Electronic medical records experience preferred

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until the last patient has been discharged, including telehealth visits
- Employment: Full-time
- On-call: No on-call responsibilities
