About the role
Role Overview Seeking an experienced physician specialized in general and Pediatric Anesthesiology to join a dedicated Pediatric team at a comprehensive hospital. The role involves providing outstanding patient care within a supportive clinical environment, contributing to the development of pediatric services at a level one trauma center .
Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care for pediatric patients, with options for case coverage in Pediatrics only or a mixture at one site.
- Supervise up to four Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital with extensive pediatric facilities, including a NICU, PICU, and specialized pediatric units.
- Participate in building pediatric trauma and specialized services.
Qualifications & Skills
- MD/DO certification in General and Pediatric Anesthesiology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Leadership experience preferred.
