About This Role
The Payroll Specialist / Payroll Accountant supports clients with all aspects of payroll accounting, providing expert advice and managing communications with various authorities. This role suits a meticulous professional with a background in tax or commercial training, ready to take on responsibility for a national and international client base.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare payrolls for national and international clients (Payroll Services)
- Advise clients on all questions regarding payroll accounting, wage tax, and social security
- Communicate with clients, tax offices, social security institutions, and professional associations
- Support clients and assist with wage tax and social security audits
Requirements
- Successfully completed tax-related or commercial training and professional experience in payroll accounting, or a relevant additional qualification
- Sound knowledge of income tax, wage tax, and social security law
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally DATEV (especially LODAS)
- Enjoy working with clients and in a team, and communicate confidently, also in English
- Interested in innovative and future-oriented activities and work very carefully
