About This Role
Managing payroll for clients, this role coordinates, monitors, and optimizes their service, acting as the primary point of contact for service follow-up. The Payroll Manager also serves as a reference point for the team of consultants providing day-to-day service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage service launches, including procedures manual and payroll schedule
- Manage local clients and track corporate-level activity for international companies
- Monitor service and follow up with clients
- Track billing for assigned clients and process purchase orders for additional services
- Provide expert support and advice to the service team on procedures involving government agencies, labor regulations, and payroll optimization
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in payroll administration and Spanish labor law
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar leadership or managerial role
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and prioritization skills, with experience in conflict resolution and stakeholder management
- In-depth knowledge of Spanish payroll legislation and processes
- Assertive, resilient, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain effective under pressure
- Contribute positively to the team culture through a collaborative mindset, sense of humor, and unique perspective
- Spanish and proficiency in English is essential
