About The Company Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-monthly US and Puerto Rico payroll
- Coordinate with HR, benefits, and compensation in the collection and transmittal of key data to produce payroll
- Prepare audit reports and reconciliations to support the validation and finalization of payroll
- Work with the third-party vendor in the production of bi-monthly Canada payroll
- Prepare vendor data input forms, validate gross to net reports, and prepare audits and reconciliations
- Prepare integrations to/from third parties and reconcile to ensure accurate and timely transmission of data
- Process off-cycle termination and final payments as needed in compliance with state regulations
- Support new hire onboarding payroll tasks including auditing employee state/local set-up and answering employee inquiries
- Respond to employee inquiries for payroll related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 5-8 years of payroll experience with experience processing multi-state payroll
- Experience using Workday
- Technical knowledge of state and federal tax regulations
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High sense of urgency and ability to maintain confidentiality
Salary Range $90,000-$110,000
