About the role

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
  • 3 years of experience in web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, XML), databases, SQL queries, and coding in Java, Python, or C/C++.
  • 2 years of experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
  • Experience delivering technical projects and making technical decisions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience using Machine Learning and building solutions.
  • Experience in an investigative role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Ireland: €90000 - €92000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and resolve complex technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise and automate workflows across a wide variety of projects.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products.
  • Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
