Payment Specialist - Warsaw, Poland (F/M)

Position We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Payment Specialist for our client from the banking industry.

Additional Information The role requires full-time onsite presence in Warsaw during the first two months of employment, followed by a hybrid working model.

Offered salary Salary: from 13 500 to 14 000 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in banking operations, Back Office, payment processing, finance operations, or a similar administrative environment.
• Pay close attention to detail and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work.
• Feel comfortable working with repetitive, process-driven tasks and maintaining a high level of precision.
• Possess strong organizational skills and can efficiently handle a large volume of transactions and requests.
• Take ownership of your responsibilities, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate successfully with different teams and stakeholders.
• Are fluent in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Fluency in French.
• Previous experience in an international banking or financial services environment.
• Knowledge of payment processing workflows and banking operations.
• Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs), operational controls, and compliance procedures.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Processing and manually entering client payment instructions into banking systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Reviewing, correcting, and updating transaction details when required to ensure successful execution.
• Cooperating with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support timely processing of client instructions.
• Managing operational correspondence and maintaining related documentation.
• Meeting defined deadlines and service level agreements while ensuring high-quality execution of all activities.
