About the role

Provides analytical support for managed care contracting and value-based payment strategy. Monitors payer policies, reimbursement trends, market developments, and contract performance to support decision-making.

Reports To: Payer Contracting, Policy & Regulatory Counsel

Key Responsibilities

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor payer policy bulletins and reimbursement changes.
  • Track industry and market trends.
  • Benchmark contract performance against market standards.

Analytics

  • Perform reimbursement and contract impact analyses.
  • Develop negotiation support materials.
  • Model proposed payment methodologies.

Reporting

  • Produce regular contract performance reports and dashboards.
  • Support dashboards for payer and value-based initiatives.
  • Analyze payer trends.

Strategic Support

  • Support contract negotiations and payer strategy development.
  • Conduct competitive analyses.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue optimization and risk reduction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years healthcare analytics experience.
  • Strong Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization skills.
  • Understanding of managed care reimbursement and value-based payment models.
