Role: Surgical Pathologist
Responsibilities: Handling approximately 35,000 surgical specimens annually within a collaborative team, providing accurate diagnoses, and engaging in clinical/translational research and multidisciplinary collaborations with cancer investigators.
Qualifications & Skills: MD or equivalent, AP or AP/CP Board-certified/eligible, valid Illinois medical license, strong diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills, and a strong work ethic. A record or potential for academic and scholarly achievements is desirable.
Key Duties: Diagnosing surgical pathology cases, contributing to academic activities, and participating in research collaborations. Opportunities exist for academic growth and research engagement.
