Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Pathologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD).
Details:
- Great Patient Population
- Out-Patient Clinic
- Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 and 1630 hours.
- Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5, 9.5 or 10.5-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-minute or 60-minute lunch break, respectively.
- In no instance will the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) HCW be required to provide services more than 80 hours per two-week period
- May move between the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Branch Health Clinic MCAS Miramar either weekly or more frequently
- No nights, No weekends, No holidays
- Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
- Salary to be determined but Employee or 1099 status available in range of $140-200/hr
Job Requirements:
The Position will have the following requirements:
- Board certification through American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Subspecialty certification preferred but not required.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- Completion of graduate medical education program in pathology or a pathology subspecialty accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- At least five years of independent clinical practice required.
