Pastry Chef – Fire-Led Restaurant
£18 per hour
We are looking for a Pastry Chef to join the opening team of a new fire-led restaurant.
The kitchen is built around exceptional produce, live fire and serious cooking. The food will be ingredient-led, bold and refined, with a strong focus on quality produce, seasonality and getting the most from every ingredient.
This is an opportunity to join from the beginning and help shape the pastry section, the standards and the way we work.
The Role
As Pastry Chef, you will take ownership of the pastry section and play an important role in delivering a high standard of desserts and pastry throughout service.
You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping to develop and deliver a dessert menu that reflects the restaurant's approach to cooking — simple, thoughtful and produce-led, with strong technique behind it.
You will be responsible for your mise en place, preparation and service, while maintaining high standards of consistency, presentation and organisation.
We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about pastry and understands that great desserts start with good ingredients, proper technique and balance.
