Responsibilities

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, pastry tools, and other specialized appliances
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes while ensuring product freshness and presentation quality
- Assist in food production processes for large-volume orders or catering events, supporting the team during high-demand periods
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality throughout all stages of pastry preparation
Requirements
- Proven culinary experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within the food industry, with a strong focus on baked goods and desserts
- Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, dough preparation, and food presentation techniques
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- High-volume production experience preferred, especially for catering or large-scale events
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards is essential
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and recipe consistency
- Strong knife skills, basic math proficiency for ingredient measurement, and excellent customer service abilities are highly valued
