Part Time Shift Coordinator

About This Role

This part-time shift coordinator role involves supporting the daily operations of a retail store, including opening and closing events. The coordinator acts as a role model and resource for other staff, ensuring adherence to safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and cleanliness standards, while also engaging customers through product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing events
• Support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and store cleanliness
• Serve as a role model and resource for other staff
• Influence buyer's behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating products
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours
• Prepare, cook, and clean work area and equipment
• Support demo events, ensuring carts, equipment, and supplies are set up and removed properly
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education
• Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clients, customers, and team members
• Work independently and possess successful team building skills
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours
• Comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment
• Comfortable supporting demo events, ensuring carts, equipment, and supplies are set up and removed properly
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
