About the role
Role Overview: The General Service Technician is responsible for performing essential automotive maintenance and repairs to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation; perform oil changes and light vehicle maintenance; carry out multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions; maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Operate vehicles safely and courteously, follow safety procedures, and support team members with various tasks. Assist with parts pickup, customer transportation, and adhere to company policies and core values.
Qualifications & Skills: Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, basic automotive knowledge (preferred), valid driver’s license with a clean record, and at least 18 years old. Flexibility to work on Saturdays with Sundays off is preferred. Prior automotive experience is a plus but not required.
Physical & Working Conditions: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in varying temperatures with potential exposure to noise, fumes, and hazardous materials. Use of PPE may be necessary. Reasonable accommodations are provided for employees with disabilities.
