Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time RN Manager to oversee nursing operations within our agency. This leadership role requires an organized and compassionate registered nurse with extensive clinical experience, including critical care, long-term care, and management. The RN Manager will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with office team to

• Assist/oversee preparation of clinical and progress notes and summaries of care.
• Assist in the development of organization goals. Helps develop, recommend, and administer agency policies and procedures.
• Strong ability to supervise, educate, and coach other nursing personnel/care-giving staff.
• Stay informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care, Brightstar Care franchise resources and share information with appropriate company personnel.
• Promote home health referrals in the health care community.
• Lead and supervise a small team of nursing staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth and high-quality patient care.
• Oversee patient assessments, medical documentation, and clinical procedures to ensure adherence to nursing policies and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate care plans for diverse patient populations, including those with dementia, developmental disabilities, or requiring specialized services.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, and long-term care standards while maintaining accurate medical records using ABS system.
• Promote infection control practices and aseptic techniques across all clinical activities to uphold safety standards.

Skills

• Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required. Two (2) to five (5) years of clinical experience, with one (1) year experience in healthcare management position and at least two (2) years in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
• Experience in the veteran community/ veteran care preferred
• Reliable car/auto insurance
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adheres to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
