Role Overview This is a part-time, night shift nursing position focused on providing direct patient care in a medical/surgical unit. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities Include
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
- Participating in activities that ensure regulatory compliance and professional development
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensing: Active RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than two years of experience
- Safety-conscious with the ability to work alertly in a safety-sensitive environment
