About the role
A hotel maintenance worker performs a variety of duties related to the smooth upkeep and maintenance of a hotel’s operations on both the interior and exterior. As a hotel maintenance worker, your job duties are to inspect and repair various energy systems, such as the heating and cooling systems, plumbing, lighting, and kitchen equipment. You also assist with repairing floors, roofs, and doors and installing new products, such as windows, carpets, and light fixtures. Qualifications for this career include skills such as mechanical aptitude, organization, attention to detail, and physical stamina. Beyond high school, many hotel maintenance workers take courses in plumbing, cleaning, and carpentry to gain the necessary experience for this job.
A Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance. Completing daily work orders, performing guest room PM projects, Keeping up with exterior grounds.
Must have one-year hotel maintenance experience and willing to work week days and weekends.
