About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, promoting positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Assessing patient needs and conditions to provide appropriate care in the assigned unit.
  • Developing individualized care plans based on medical history, diagnostics, and current status.
  • Administering medications and treatments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Reconciliation of medical records to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitoring patient responses to interventions and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; clinical specialty experience preferred.
  • Valid RN license in North Carolina or a compact state, with BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
