About the role
The role involves providing computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic imaging services in accordance with organizational standards and policies.
Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physician orders, educating patients about procedures, preparing and administering contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safety and quality control of imaging equipment. The technologist will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform imaging procedures, analyze results, and address image quality concerns.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, registry as an RT, and completion or eligibility for CT registration with the ARRT. A current BLS healthcare provider certification is required.
