About the role
Role: CT Technologist, responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and supporting the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute CT scans according to department protocols, capturing diagnostic-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and equipment functionality.
- Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET principles.
- Ensure patient privacy, comfort, and safety, administering contrast and positioning patients correctly.
- Review, process, and finalize images in RIS/PACS, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to patient emergencies, maintain equipment, and support department workflow and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient communication, and teamwork.
