Role Overview Seeking licensed pharmacists to join a dynamic, clinically focused environment. The role involves assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication use based on patient conditions, ensuring accurate preparation and dispensing, and resolving medication-related issues. Pharmacists supervise supportive staff, provide drug therapy counseling, and assist with medication procurement, storage, and disposal.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage workflow, oversee technicians, interns, and volunteers for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
- Serve as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information and staff training.
- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, documenting activities and communication.
- Identify efficiency and safety opportunities within medication use processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervisor experience not required.
- Licensure in Medication Therapy Services in MO and RPh certification needed.
- Strong clinical, analytical, and communication skills.
