Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist

Role Overview Seeking a licensed pharmacist to join a clinical pharmacy team, primarily staffing in the OR satellite pharmacy. The role requires sound clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with high responsibility. Previous OR experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities Include

• Managing workflow and supervising technicians, interns, and volunteers to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Participating in departmental meetings and committees.
• Serving as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information, staff training, and patient care transitions.
• Assessing medication orders for appropriateness based on patient condition and organ function, documenting activities thoroughly.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and safety in medication use processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with no supervisory experience necessary.
• Current license to provide Medication Therapy Services in MO and RPh certification.
• Preferred experience includes 2-5 years in pharmacy practice.
