Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients.
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Skills: Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, patient education, safety awareness.
