Role Overview: Provides direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
- Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
- Maintains communication across care continuum and adheres to standards of nursing practice.
Qualifications & Skills- RN license required. Preferred: BSN degree and <2 years of experience.- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
