Role And Responsibilities The Associate Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs radionuclide imaging, manages use and monitoring of radionuclides, and provides patient care, film processing, and clerical duties within the Nuclear Medicine department.
Qualifications And Skills
- Completion of appropriate college courses.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NCTCB or registration by NMTCB upon hire.
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification and BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
- Preferred: 1 year of nuclear medicine experience.
Key Duties
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radionuclides.
- Monitor and handle radionuclides safely.
- Assist with patient care and clerical tasks related to nuclear medicine services.
Additional Information This role is part-time with variable shifts, offering a pay range of $48.47 to $71.47 per hour, with potential extra compensation such as shift differentials or overtime.
