About This Role
This role involves supporting legal professionals in a Hong Kong law firm with a focus on litigation, advisory, and drafting across complex cross-border legal issues. Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, contracts, demand letters, and advisory notes
- Prepare bundles, collate evidence, and manage filings with courts or regulators
- Assist in corporate transactions, due diligence, and compliance checks
- Liaise with clients on procedural updates and document collection
- Prepare concise, client-friendly summaries of complex legal issues
- Support billing, practice management systems, and precedent database upkeep
- Contribute to firm publications and knowledge sharing initiatives
Requirements
- Law degree or legal studies qualification; prior paralegal experience preferred
- Strong command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
- Professional demeanor with confidence in client-facing interactions
