About the role
We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating works in and around Plymouth.
The ideal candidate will ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and all painting and decorating equipment is kept clean. They will hold a recognised qualification or have a minimum of 5 years checkable experience in Painting and Decorating. They will be organised, self-motivated and have good communication and customer service skills. If this of interest, please apply today!
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Carry out preparation works to walls to make good and minor repairs to surfaces/ structures prior to painting.
- Carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements to a high standard.
- Use tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
- Notify your Line Manager or Supervisor of any complaints/discrepancies.
Experience & Qualifications
- A full driving licence is desirable.
- Preferably has served a recognised apprenticeship.
- Good knowledge of all aspects of Health and Safety.
- Is capable of carrying out all duties associated with carrying out the role of painter/decorator.
- Good communication and customer service skills
