About This Role
This full-time position is for an experienced Painter responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces using airless paint spraying techniques. The role involves ensuring proper coverage and finish quality while following safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint and coatings
- Ensure proper coverage and finish quality
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment
- Assist with materials handling and inventory management as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Painter or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting applications
- Ability to operate a forklift for materials handling purposes
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
